Families are an integral part of our program and are welcome to visit and feel comfortable to discuss their children’s progress or any aspects of our policies and program delivery. A secured Facebook page that limits access exclusively to the parents, offer regular updates including photos and videos of our daily programming. To respect and protect the privacy of our children and families, we obtain parental consent before we post images of our children. We collaborate with our professional allies to offer parenting seminars and with community partners to facilitate access to community resources to our families.
We also provide opportunities for staff, parents and children to socialize in an informal setting during our annual special events (example: Spring Concert, Stampede Breakfast, and Christmas Concert).
Ours is an inclusive program that caters to families from diverse backgrounds and cultures. We acknowledge and respect the values, beliefs and the multicultural heritage of our society and strive to enrich our program by gaining knowledge about individual cultures and developing respect and appreciation for diverse cultures.
Arts and Crafts, Circle time, Music and Movement and Outdoor play are also an integral part of daily programming.
