Christmas 2015
Thank you all very much for the great participation in our Christmas party. Children thoroughly enjoyed the event, especially the magic show. The positive feedback about the face painting artist is encouraging. We hope to have her again for our future events. We are glad to learn that Santa was good and very generous to all our children and families!
BAS Re-Accreditation
Our school-age program has successfully completed the re-accreditation process. I would like to thank the staff and families for their active participation. The feedback report from the Accreditation Board is awaited. We will share the contents with you all when we receive them.
Renovations
I would like to thank our staff and families for their extreme patience and understanding during the past few months while we underwent a major renovation. We kicked off the project on Thanksgiving weekend and we are at the final stages now. While it has been a long few months of adaptations and adjustments for all involved, it is indeed heartening to see the new fence, new flooring, new layout in the Preschool/Toddler rooms, and the newly painted walls & the ceilings!
Parent Survey 2015
Thank you to all the families who took the time to complete the program evaluation surveys last year. Your feedback is very important in reviewing our policies and procedures. While families are always welcome to share their comments and concerns with me, a collective feedback from our parent community enables us to obtain a clear synopsis about our performance in specific areas of operations.
Registration for Kindergarten for 2016-17 School Year
As in the previous years, we will be transporting children to Simons Valley and Hidden Valley Elementary Schools. Registration for Kindergarten for the next school year is well underway in both schools. If you intend to enroll your child in KG for the upcoming school year and you reside in the designated communities of either of the schools, please register your child as ap. This year, there is a change in Simons Valley School’s intake policy. Affected families have received an email from me along with School Principal’s letter and the summary of my discussions with him on the matter. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Upcoming Holidays
Daycare will remain closed on the following dates.
1. February 15, 2016 – Family Day
2. March 25, 2016 – Good Friday
3. March 27, 2016 – Easter Monday – Please make alternated childcare arrangements if you are working on Easter Monday
